Music composer between symphonic tradition and sound innovation
Born in Rome in 1993, Sebastiano Tiraboschi is a professional composer with an academic background in both classical and electronic music. His musical research stems from the encounter between the European symphonic tradition and the most contemporary sound languages, in a path aimed at developing a personal style capable of bridging different worlds. From a very young age, he began studying piano, drums, and theoretical disciplines, while cultivating a parallel interest in classical music and modern genres. During high school, he delved into sound technologies through audio engineering courses, gradually approaching improvisation and composition. After an initial detachment from art music, he rediscovered in the symphonic tradition a fertile ground for inspiration, enriched by the influences of rap, soul, and gospel, which expanded his creative horizon. In 2009, he began studying composition with Maestro Vincenzo Ramaglia, continuing from 2010 at the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory in Rome in the ten-year program of Traditional Composition. There, he dedicated himself intensively to harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration, and had his first experience in the field of music for images with the MUST project, composing a soundtrack performed by the Ensemble of Teatro alla Scala. He later continued his studies at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory in Venice, where he attended Maestro Luca Mosca’s opera composition masterclass. With the introduction of the new academic curricula, in 2017 he began the Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Music at the “Arrigo Pedrollo” Conservatory in Vicenza, focusing on computer programming applied to music and sound synthesis techniques—areas in which he combines his artistic passion with a strong interest in scientific disciplines.
Today, Sebastiano is dedicated to composing soundtracks for video games and sync licensing projects, alongside the creation of personal works, always with an eye toward experimentation and the evolution of musical language.
